The Gold Look

I am absolutely LOVING this earthy gold tones look. 

Stripes, prints and black-

So I'm absolutely LOVING the striped maxi dress in this picture- but please be carefull trying to copy this look. Horizontal stripes tend to make one appear bigger/ wider than we actually are. Similar maxi dresses in similar fabric was seen at Jay Jays.
Now the leopard print- If you had asked me 2 years ago about leopard print, I would tell you it belongs on a leopard and nowhere else, but 'here we are and leopard print has made its appearance'. Although I prefer leopard prints on a neo colour background, instead of the natural tan colour, certain garments; this skirt, looks good in the natural leopard print.
Heel are an absolute stunner...but that's because I bought a pair similar to it.
How to pull these looks off...?

Chucks?

So here's my thoughts.
Chucks looks great with a jeans, for guys. Either complementing a casual t-shirt or rocking an informal look with a shirt. I personally don't like colour 'All Stars' for females.
There are some females that are able to pull the look off...and that's awesome, I'd just never be able to rock this look.
Colour shoes are HOT and I'm all for colour, going wild and not being afraid to let colour express how you are feeling. 'Be careful not to over'-do the colourful vibe especially for guys wearing chucks with 3/4 shorts...I've seen a bit too much colour when attempting to 'pimp' that look out.

The 'Neo' Hat

I call this the 'Neo" hat as he wears this type of hat in most of his music video's. I love this hat. It can make a plain outfit look funky especially in the summer.
Suggestion: Don't try to pull this look with the hat in Winter, Spring or Autumn in Cape Town. You'll end up holding the hat in you hand or holding your hand on your head to keep your hat from flying away.

Casual yet so sexy.
Little denim shorts, floral shirts, cow-boys boots and add some accessories.

Hi-waisted floral with white shirt and sling bag. To top it off, I think the sunglasses (shades) completed this look.

I love it and think some of these items are a MUST have. Not sure if I'd pull of the short-denim shorts.
