Loving these maxi-dresses espcially in stripes. This is from Jill Sanders ready-to-wear 2011 range. Although we are moving into winter, here in Cape Town, this look is great from Summer, even Spring. It has a essence of 'Nautical', I guess it is the mere fact that it is stripes and the colours happpen to be white and blue, even the white and black below. These dresses aren't tight fitted which is a factor that I love. Not everything needs to cling to your body to be sexy or appealing. Loose fitting is just as azamzing when pulled of correctly. Another thing that made me love thhese dresses is their design: the basci neckline is not often seen in dresses. Plain and simple, resembles a vest and is both stylish sophiscation and relaxed casual. It is just so unique!
This dress, similar to the one above is not as flared but still not fitted. If you arent that daring, opt for this style. The neckline is higher which I find 'oh so appealing' and the width of the straps are wider. Although the stripes are horizontal and can pose a threat to ones figure, I would attempt purchasing and wearing this particular dress.
So now we see a fit variation of this style of maxi-dress, pulled off by a normal female who is not a runway model. She pulls this dress of with such ease and style. The neckline is similar to the blue and white maxi above, but still something about this look is a MUST. So who wore it better- runway or noral girl 2?
i love both but love the MAXI maxi
